Locust Grove Cardi Bach
2009 14.2h Welsh Cob gelding, registered WPCSA. By GF Prince Albert LOM/AOE out of Heather Hill Millenia. 2016 USEF Welsh Cob Regional Reserve Champion, 2nd in Region.
2016 USEF Welsh Cob National Champion, 5th in Nation. Nominated for 2021 WPCSA Welsh of the Year.
This gelding foxhunts regularly in first field and currently is coursing 3'3"-3'6" easily and is a big, honest, and scopey ride. Vast show experiences from local schooling and A-rated shows to Thermal. Acceptable for junior rider or adult amateur. He self-loads in the trailer. He is an easy traveler and overall happy and quiet. He has done extensive Pony Club events so he is quite educated and has taught many kids. Started under saddle by a hand-picked professional rider at Buck Brannaman's colt starting clinic, with significant and extensive follow-up by owner and trainer, resulting in excellent ground manners and immaculate training. He has been exposed to flags, freeway traffic noise, horns, sirens, chickens, geese, goats, alpacas, miniature horses, dogs and cats, you name it. Current junior rider has room full of blue ribbons, too many to count.
